Captain Edward Ivo Medhurst Barrett (1879 - 1950) earned one cap playing rugby for England on 21 March 1903 against Scotland at Richmond Park (Twickenham was still a few years away). He played at centre. He later was a regular rugby player in Shanghai and at many sports. He served on numerous Shanghai sports club committees. More details can be found here.
